Hot diggity dead!  'The Walking Dead' Season 3 premiere won't arrive until well into October of this year, so we never expected set videos to arrive this soon, even if filming has begun.  But, the wheels are always turning, so why keep good material locked up?  And speaking of things locked up, there's a pretty specific reason you'll want to check out the latest production video...

As AMC's 'The Walking Dead' continues shooting in Atlanta, today the network gives us our first official look at the behind-the scenes action of the monster hit zombie series.  In particular, the first set video offers up an inside look at the setting for 'The Walking Dead' season 3, that of the ominous prison glimpsed in season 2 finale "Beside the Dying Fire!"

Of course, you won't get any peeks at those hotly-anticipated new characters, samurai-sword wielding, governing, or original to the AMC series, but it's still the most tantalizing glimpse of 'The Walking Dead' season 3 we've got thus far, and so early in the year, too!  The cast is bloodied, dirty, and exhausted after only days of shooting, and both cast and crew promise that  season 3 will be the darkest, and most fear-filed yet.

Things they'd never do otherwise?  Love blossoming?  New kinds of zombie kills?  What does it all mean?  Watch the video, and try not to starve while we wait for Rick and the undead to return with 'The Walking Dead' season 3 this October on AMC!  Tess us what you most want to see in the comments below!
