AMC's 'The Walking Dead' has so many viewers that a third season was a given, and at the close of season two, fans couldn't wait for more undead adventures with their favorite characters. Now there's a trailer for season three online and this next season looks to be the bloodiest yet.

Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus and Irone Singleton return for the new season that starts on AMC on October 14th. Newcomer Danai Gurira shows up as Michonne, a badass sword-wielding zombie killer who likes to drag along two limbless zombies on chains. You know, for fun. David Morrissey has also been cast as the Governor of Woodbury, a town sanctioned off from the zombie attack. Course we all know those kind of places never stay safe for long.

The trailer shows just some of the intense action that will be shown throughout the season. It also hints at humans being just as much of a threat to survivors as the zombies -- a recurring theme throughout the show.

Check out the trailer below.
