‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Premiere Clip: Carol and Tyreese Headed for Terminus
Usually AMC's 'The Walking Dead' forces us hungry masses wait until Comic-Con for a fresh taste of the new season, but with the "Dead, White and Blue" shambling all over the country this weekend, season 5 is just too big to be contained. Find out what happened to Carol, Tyreese and the still-living baby Judith on the tracks to Terminus in our first official clip from 'The Walking Dead' season 5!
Unless AMC's monster smash has taken to playing with its own sense of chronology, it seems safe to infer by the first clip from 'The Walking Dead' season 5 that Carol and Tyreese weren't on the menu for whatever mystery meet the Terminus folk always seem to be grilling whenever someone arrives. Nay, it seems the trio haven't yet followed the tracks all the way to the supposed sanctuary, instead hiding from a legion of walkers in the woods.
Elsewhere, we know of ‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 that existing stars Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara) and Andrew J. West (Gareth) have all been upgraded to series regulars, while ‘The Wire‘ star Seth Gilliam joined in a role all but confirmed to be that of comic preacher Gabriel Stokes. The fifth season of AMC’s monster-drama is expected to pick up immediately after the events of season 4 finale “A,” and will eventually divulge the fates of missing character Beth, among others.
We'll have more on tonight's 'Talking Dead' preview special of 'The Walking Dead' season 5 tomorrow, but in the meantime, check out our first taste of new footage in the clip above, and tell us what you want to see when AMC shambles out a full trailer from Comic-Con 2014!
