'The Walking Dead' Preview: Can Tyreese and Carol Make It to "The Grove"?Kevin Fitzpatrick |
Only three episodes remain in 'The Walking Dead' season 4, and so far relatively few reunions have taken place among the survivors displaced by the Governor's final assault on the prison. This week's "The Grove" will return to Tyreese, Carol and their young companions, but will Tyreese discover the myriad of secrets being kept from him? Get an early look in the latest photos and clip from this Sunday's all-new episode!
Whereas the initial clip from "The Grove" saw Tyreese leaving poor baby Judith behind with Lizzie to take on an oncoming walker, the second sneak peek from the hour cryptically sees young Lizzie treating a walker attack as a game of tag, outside a house that seems to have its gas and power intact. Photos from "The Grove" focus largely on Tyreese and Carol (looking out the same window as the clip, we imagine), another shot featuring a gruesomely charred walker.
Here's what AMC had to say of Sunday's "The Grove":
After finding an idyllic place to establish a new shelter, the group starts to question whether it is possible to go back to the way things were.
Of course, given the usual vagaries of AMC's synopses, we'll turn to series creator Robert Kirkman for a more thorough explanation of why this Sunday's latest episode could well turn the season on its head. Via Entertainment Weekly:
I would say this is a big one. It’s definitely one that people are going to remember and it’s definitely one people are going to talk about. If there is one episode of 'The Walking Dead' that you absolutely had to watch this season, it would be this one. You kind of have to watch all of them, but it’s going to be a big episode. We’re going to catch a lot of people off guard.
