Get Ready for ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 3 With All-New ‘Cold Storage’ Webisodes!

It's been over six months since we've had any fresh 'The Walking Dead,' but even with the season 3 premiere less than a month away, that's an awful lot of time for 'Walking Dead' fans to be shambling around on an empty stomach. Well, even though October 14 won't get here any faster, how about some brand new AMC webisodes featuring a few familar faces to satiate your hunger? Get ready to bring yourself out of 'Cold Storage'!

'The Walking Dead' season 3 may not premiere for the better part of a month, but you don't have to wait that long for fresh zombie-killing thrills! Courtesy of PopCandy, we've learned that AMC will continue its tradition of releasing webisodes of original content set in 'The Walking Dead' universe! Where as last year's round dealt with a family torn apart and a woman ultimately fated to become the infamous "bicycle zombie," this year's 'Cold Storage' will tell a different story and feature some faces familialr to genre fans, including 'LOST's' Daniel Roebuck (Arzt!) and 'Cabin Fever's' Cerina Vincent.

From the official description:

'Cold Storage' tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse. He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named B.J. (Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.

Directed by 'The Walking Dead's' executive producer and FX guru Greg Nicotero, AMC will release the shorts beginning October 1.
