‘The Watch’ Red Band Trailer Blowin’ Up the Spot

So far everybody knows 'The Watch' (formerly titled 'Neighborhood Watch') as that one movie that unfortunately was debuted at the most inappropriate time this year due to a high-profile case. Thankfully that's settled down a little bit so Twentieth Century Fox is able to show off more of their new sci-fi comedy.

'The Watch,' directed by Akiva Schaffer (behind many of your favorite 'SNL' digital shorts), centers on a group of fathers who end up forming their own neighborhood watch group which quickly turns into a team that's trying their best to defend the neighborhood from an alien attack. The cast includes Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade.

Mind you, the trailer below is red-band so expect to hear a lot of dirty, dirty jokes. Hopefully they'll give Richard Ayoade some time to shine in the movie, especially given the fact that he's absolutely hilarious in the television show 'The IT Crowd' (if you haven't seen it before, check it out right away).

'The Watch,' which feels kind of like a goofier, suburban-like version of 'Attack the Block,' will be out in theaters on July 27th. Watch the NSFW trailer below and let us know what you think!
