Thief Trailer: A Release Date Steps Out From the Shadows

A new Gamescom-flavored trailer for Thief has surfaced, revealing a good amount of inner monologue from Garrett while also giving us one very important detail: the game's release date.

As you can see from the trailer, the city is rife with unrest. The poor get poorer while the rich get even richer. Garrett goes about his own business and steals from the latter, dashing around on rooftops and sneaking into manors.

But in the streets below, the proletariat are taking up arms and banding together to overthrow the ruling class. What ensues is a scene of bloodshed and flames, while Garrett keeps to the shadows and collects his prizes.

And what is our prize? It's knowing that Thief will be in stores on Feb. 25, 2014 on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
