'Thor 2' Reveals More Than 40 New Photos of 'The Dark World'

'Thor 2' is ready to traverse 'The Dark World' this November 8, but even though we're just a little more than a week away, Marvel hasn't skimped on the latest looks. The studio has unleashed over 40 hi-res photos from the Asgardian Avenger's next solo adventure, offering up some spoilery shots of previously unseen characters and scenes to come.

The 'Thor 2' pics come courtesy of The Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide, and get up close (like, in-your-business close) with Algrim and Kurse (both played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and the Warriors Three (Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano and Zachary Levi), Heimdall (Idris Elba), Odin (Anthony Hopkins), Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and even Chris O'Dowd's surprise cameo as Jane's (Natalie Portman) non-deity date. Aside from the impressive cast, however, there's even more shots of the coming action.

Marvel previously teased that with 'Thor 2' would come more looks into the Nine Realms, more so with Asgard, and they weren't joking. While the photos of Thor's kingdom look like something you'd find on a Three Wolf T-shirt but 10 times more spectacular, you get to literally stare directly into the other worlds connected via the Bifrost.
