We've been preoccupied with the 'Iron Man 3' trailer and movie pics these past few days, but now its time to set our sights on the God of Thunder. 'Thor 2,' dubbed 'The Dark World,' is currently shooting in Iceland, which we've already seen through tons of set pics and behind-the-scenes footage leaking out of the woodwork. But who's ready now for some 'Thor: The Dark World' spoilers?

We're not kidding when we say these tid bits reveal a lot about the next chapter in the 'Thor' saga, currently set to hit theaters November 8, 2013. So be warned -- if you don't want to know the major plot details, turn back now!

Andrew Lawden, best known for his stunt work in the 'Star Wars' movies, has been working with Marvel to promote all the upcoming films, including 'Thor 2' and 'Iron Man 3.' As a result, he had the chance to see some exclusive footage of both films -- one being an actual clip from 'Iron Man 3' and the other being animated storybook-type footage of 'Thor: The Dark World.' And what does he do with this inside information? He goes on air and reveals it to the world, of course!

Guest appearing on the Bombad Radio podcast, Lawden dished on all the details about both these films. While we've already known his info on 'Iron Man 3' for some time, he had some eye-opening tid bits to tell about 'Thor 2,' including the death of a major character, the return of another and Jane's involvement:

Thor becomes reunited with Jane who becomes possessed by a Dark Spirit, which is connected with the Dark Elves; a race the Asgardians have fallen out with many years beforehand [...] The Dark Elves attack Asgard, and they take a huge hit. So Thor has to rebuild Asgard by putting together an army to go and take the battle to the Dark Elves and defeat them. But the only way he can do this is – he needs to cross over to the Dark World, and the only person who has access to the dark side of Asgard is his old brother Loki, who at the beginning of the film is locked up in prison.

So what happens is Thor basically has to negotiate this truce with Loki, and he goes on this great trek with Jane, all three of them. They go to this far side of Asgard, which is being shot in Iceland, where they train and assemble an army to go and attack the Dark Elves’ world...

But the exclusive twist…is that one of the things that happens during the Asgardian attack is that Thor’s mother gets killed. So it becomes like a vengeance thing. And they were keeping very tight-lipped about what actually happens with Loki, you don’t know whether he redeems himself or he’s still the bad egg.

So, we go from knowing very little from the official plot to possibly knowing too much! It's apparently confirmed that Loki will in fact be returning in 'Thor 2,' which we figured out through some internet snooping. But at least he won't be completely at odds with his brother this time around.
