The Thor: Ragnarok gag reel is irreverent right from the opening fanfare — naturally, since, like the movie itself, this is a Taika Waititi production. He introduces us to the set of Sakaar, and takes us through a bunch of shots of all the actors dancing badly and giggling at their hilarious lines and talking about how great it is to work with Waititi. Okay, we get it. This is the most fun movie in the world.

The only thing about this is that there isn’t really much in the way of bloopers, which I chalk up to the fact that there was a lot of improv work amongst a lot of funny, professional people, a lot of which ended up making it into the movie anyway. All in all, it seems like a very relaxed set for such a huge movie, which probably has something to do with how Waititi likes to work.

If anything, this just makes me want a whole series of movies like this, where Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are allowed to kick back and have some fun. Yes, I know, we have to fight Thanos eventually, but maybe we could just… have another weird space adventure instead? And let everyone stay friends?

Thor: Ragnarok will be available digitally on February 20, and on Blu-ray and DVD March 7.
