'Zero Dark Thirty' may be the more important film, but this is the one I'm going to watch again and again until the day I die. It captures the excitement and sadness of youth in ways both buoyant and restrained. The 16mm look, the music, the costumes, the camera moves and Bob Balaban's Greek Chorus are just a few of 'Moonrise Kingdom's charms. Wes Anderson's entire career has been building to this one and he knocked it out of the park.
