A daring examination of performance and identity that's smart, silly and sharply executed. On the one hand it is merely a collection of short films, yet the total experience exudes a melancholy spirit that seems just right. Personally I think some of the explicit references to cinema history deadens the impact, but the sum total of the film is still remarkable.

Best part:Tie between motion capture sex ballet and the return of 'Tokyo!!!''s Merde. Oh, who'm I kidding – it's the accordion entr'acte.
