There may not be a 'Toy Story 4' in the near future -- or ever! -- but Pixar is still pumping out fun little shorts featuring our favorite characters, and we're totally okay with that. The next one? 'Toy Story of Terror,' a Halloween-themed TV special that will hit the small screen next year.

'Partysaurus Rex' recently made its big screen debut before the 3D re-release of 'Finding Nemo,' but Pixar is heading to the small screen with their next 'Toy Story' short, titled 'Toy Story of Terror.' The Pixar Times reports (via Slashfilm) this will be the 'Toy Story of Terror' plot:

What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story of Terror.

Oh no! Our favorite toys are in peril! ...again! This sounds like an absolutely delightful little concept, but one we won't get our eyes on until Halloween season next year. But the good news is that this special will be 30 minutes long -- we'll take it!
