Amid the excitement for all the major summer blockbusters, you really should put Trainwreck on your must-see list. The new comedy from director Judd Apatow and writer/star Amy Schumer is insanely hilarious and relatable, and as if that wasn’t enough to stir your interest, Tilda Swinton co-stars as the editor in chief of a magazine for men. Come on. You know you’re sold.

Schumer stars in Trainwreck as Amy, a woman whose father taught her one very important lesson as a child: monogamy isn’t realistic. Amy has taken that to heart and now, as an adult with a solid career at a men’s mag, she enjoys a series of drunken one-night stands, rejecting any attempts by men to legitimately date her. But then she’s sent to profile a sports doctor (Bill Hader), and everything changes.

As the new international trailer touts, this isn’t your mom’s rom-com — far from it. You can read our full review of the film from SXSW, but here’s the shorter version: Trainwreck is a near-perfect comedic masterpiece, and cements Schumer’s status as a leading lady.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Since she was a little girl, it’s been drilled into Amy’s (Schumer) head by her rascal of a dad (Colin Quinn) that monogamy isn’t realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo — enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment — but in actuality, she’s kind of in a rut. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be on to something.

Trainwreck also stars Colin Quinn, Brie Larson, Vanessa Bayer and LeBron James (who is very funny in his supporting role), and arrives in theaters on July 17.
