Though it's an early report, we're hearing word that Michael Bay has lined up his younger leads for 'Transformers 4.' The names of the non-robots in disguise? Brenton Thwaites and Nicola Peltz.

And considering that Michael Bay denied that he was going to cast Mark Wahlberg until it was later revealed that he cast Mark Wahlberg, we're going to believe that the latest reports are true because they come from the same source: Twitchfilm. Of course, we'd expect that this early word will probably be denied, but these actors were already in contention, so it fits with what is known, and we'd expect to hear confirmation shortly.

Nicola Peltz is the better known of the two, and she would be playing Mark Wahlberg's daughter. Peltz was a child actor, and was one of the leads in 'The Last Airbender.' Such also suggests - though casting isn't over - that Bay is not going with a sexpot type as he did with Megan Fox and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the first three films. But, then again, this is supposed to be Wahlberg's daughter.

Brenton Thwaites is an Australian actor who's about to have his big break in 'Maleficent' opposite Angelina Jolie. Until now he's mostly done television, including A&E's version of 'The Blue Lagoon.' We'll keep you posted if this turns out to be true.
