‘True Blood’ Season 5 Finale Serves Up Another Bloodthirsty “Save Yourself” Clip

True Blood Season 5 Finale Save Yourself

In just a few days time, ‘True Blood‘ season 5 will reach its bloody end as all the various threads of the season finally intersect, and death is seemingly afoot.  Russell Edgington has become super-charged with Faerie blood, while Bill has become super-charged on his own ego, while all the humans and shifters alike in between them struggle only to survive.  Whatever happens, it’s going to be bloody, so how would you like an extended look?

Shifters, Vampires and Werewolves, oh my!  It seems like it’s going to take an ocean of ‘True Blood’ to get through all the various plot threads that arose this year, from Bill’s Vampire crusade to Alcide’s exile, to Sookie and Jason’s search for the mysterious Warlo that killed their parents, all while fending-off Russell Edgington.  We’ve already seen one look at Sunday’s season 5 finale “Save Yourself” that highlighted Bill discovering Sam had made it inside the Vampire Authority headquarters, but what about those back in Bon Temps?

In the second extended sneak peak from Sunday’s finale, Eric, Nora and Tara all arrive at the Stackhouse residence looking to recruit Sookie to convince Bill to abandon his crusade, though some of them eye her with much more menace than the others.  Meanwhile, Jason seems to have survived Russell’s wrath as well, but has no interest in helping vampire affairs, especially after they killed his parents.

You know, the parents who are sitting on the couch next to Sookie, talking to him.  What?
