13. ‘Happy Days’

Like 'The Andy Griffith Show,' 'Happy Days' also starred director Ron Howard. This time around in a show about the Cunningham family of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; specifically, son Richie and his womanizing, high school drop-out friend Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli. The show was created by Garry Marshall and aired from 1974 and 1984, though the story took place in the mid-50s to mid-60s. Its theme was the hit song "Rock Around the Clock," performed by Bill Haley & His Comets.
