One of the most effective television themes to date, 'The Twilight Zone' theme came from not one, but many composers, including greats like Bernard Hermann (the original theme) and Jerry Goldsmith. Created by Rod Serling, the show would tell a different paranormal, futuristic, or just plain creepy tale each week, almost always ending with a surprisingly impactful plot twist and a message from Serling himself.
