24. ‘Batman’

In the 1960s television version, Adam West played Batman along with sidekick Robin (Burt Ward). The opening theme, from Neal Hefti, featured the spiking of horns to indicate Batman and Robin hitting their enemies, always accompanied on screen with an animated "POW!" or "BAM!" to keep things light and in the spirit of the comic books.
