3. ‘Laverne & Shirley’

The iconic theme for 'Laverne & Shirley' was composed by John Beal, Frank Comstock, Charles Fox, and Jack Hayes and sung by Cyndi Grecco. 'Laverne & Shirley' starred Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams as the titular protagonists, respectively -- two working class women who are friends and roommates, just trying to make it on their own and working in the fictional Shotz beer brewery, which features heavily in the opening credits above. The show was a spin-off of 'Happy Days' and ran from 1976 to 1983.
