34. ‘Welcome Back, Kotter’

Airing from 1975 to 1979, 'Welcome Back, Kotter' starred Gabe Kaplan as a teacher who returns to his former high school to educate a group of unruly kids, including a very young John Travolta. The theme song, courtesy of John Sebastian, was a catchy, pleasant tune where the title of the show served as the refrain.
