4. ‘Mission: Impossible’

This theme from legendary composer Lalo Schifrin creates a sense of mystery and urgency for a show about the IMF (the Impossible Missions Force), a team of specialist agents who combat dictators, large crime organizations, and crime bosses. The characters of 'Mission: Impossible' are highly secretive, often wearing disguises and using state of the art technology. The show ran from 1966 to 1973 and inspired four feature-length films starring Tom Cruise.
