The theme for prime time soap opera 'Dallas' holds all the extravagance of its central characters, the Ewings, wealthy oil and cattle barons who get themselves into all kinds of shenanigans. 'Dallas' was known for its awesome cliffhangers, particularly the "Who shot J.R.?" story line, and was one of the longest running American television shows. At 357 episodes, it comes in fourth behind 'Gunsmoke,' 'Law & Order,' and 'Bonanza.' Its theme was composed by Jerrold Immel.
