43. ‘Diff’rent Strokes’

Here's a fun fact: TV dad Alan Thicke ('Growing Pains') composed and sang the theme song for 'Diff'rent Strokes,' called 'It Takes Diff'rent Strokes,' with Gloria Loring and Al Burton. The show told the story of Arnold and Willis Jackson (Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges), two African-American boys who are adopted by their mother's wealthy white employer when she passes away. 'Diff'rent Strokes' ran from 1978 to 1986 and was well known for its "very special episodes."
