Sure, 'Game of Thrones' season 4 unleashed its epic 'Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing' preview this past Sunday night, along with 'The Walking Dead' season 4 return, but what of HBO's Julia Louis-Dreyfus Emmy-winner 'Veep,' soon to enter its third season? Check out your first look at Selina Meyer's bid for the presidency in the latest 'Veep' season 3 trailer teaser right here!

Abraham Lincoln once said, "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power," or so reads the first teaser of the HBO political comedy's third season. Complementing the historical quote is our first 'Veep' season 3 footage of Selina Meyer throwing a temper tantrum in a new office, destroying an assortment of red, white and blue balloons, as her beloved staff looks on.

Few casting details have been revealed for the third year of Dreyfus' turn as the titularly ambitious 'Veep' Selina Meyer, though we expect season 3 to devote a sizable amount of its story to Selina's ultimate bid for the presidency, the current occupant of which has yet to be seen. Dreyfus again won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2013 Emmy Awards, having previously clinched the title in 2012.

The ensemble cast of the show also includes ‘Arrested Development‘s’ Tony Hale, ‘My Girl’s’ Anna Chlumsky as Selina’s Chief of Staff Amy, Reid Scott as Dan, Matt Walsh as Mike, Timothy C. Simons as Jonah, and Sufe Bradshaw as Sue. The second season of the HBO comedy featured guest turns from Gary Cole as Karl Rove-type figure Kent, along with former ‘Luck’ star Kevin Dunn as the President’s Chief of Staff Ben, who has since been elevated to series regular.

The third season of HBO's 'Veep' will premiere on April 6 behind the fourth season of 'Game of Thrones,' so check out the first footage above, and tell us what you want to see from Selina Meyer's next term in the comments!
