‘The Walking Dead’ Season 2 Gets a Blu-Ray Trailer

A curious thing happened when we were gazing over our vast collection of Blu-ray and DVDs, and we noticed one crucial detail: needs more 'The Walking Dead!'  Luckily, AMC has been kind enough to help us with this particular problem.  So when does season 2 of 'The Walking Dead' shamble into our collections, and what will it look like?

Season 3 of 'The Walking Dead' won't hit until October, so in the meantime we've accrued an awfully large amount of drool waiting for images of Michonne, details on The Governor, or even a look inside that ominous prison glimpsed in season 2 finale "Beside the Dying Fire."  Thankfully, August 28 will satiate our hunger a bit with the official release of 'The Walking Dead' season 2 Blu-Ray!

The series Variety called "creepy from the first frame" gets a release on Blu-ray™ and DVD that will make the dead rise! Anchor Bay Entertainment proudly releases the AMC original series THE WALKING DEAD: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON on August 28th on Blu-ray and DVD. A truly unique and very limited edition zombie head case created and designed by McFarlane Toys will also be available as Blu-ray™ only. The 4-Disc sets will contain all 13 episodes of the second season and will be loaded with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, featurettes and audio commentaries.

Awesome!  Say, we remember when AMC first announced that screwdriver-to-the-face DVD packaging.  It was right about the time the network completely spoiled a major character death right there in the features descriptions.
