Despite its surprise nomination for the 2013 Golden Globes last night, 'Smash' didn't manage to take home the gold for Best TV Series, Comedy or Musical. Regardless of any awards, the hotly anticipated second season of NBC's musical drama is set to make its two-hour second season debut on February 5, but why wait that long? Would you like to see the 'Smash' season 2 premiere right now?

Critics and fans alike are eagerly awaiting the February 5 premiere of 'Smash' season 2, particularly to see how the show has changed since its extensive showrunner and cast shake-ups. The show's second year will introduce a host of new characters and stars, as well as highlight the introduction of another show up against season 1's Marilyn Monroe drama "Bombshell," but will the second season prove better than the first?

Thankfully, you don't have to wait to find out as NBC has put the first half of 'Smash's' two-hour premiere online right now!

Casting Liza Minnelli as herself, ‘Smash’ season 2 also includes ‘Rent’ stars Jesse L. Martin and Daphne Rubin-Vega, Bernadette Peters, ‘Hairspray’s' Nikki Blonsky, Debra Messing’s former ‘Will & Grace’ star Sean Hayes, Krysta Rodriguez as Karen’s new roommate Ana,  Andy Mientus, ‘Newsies’ star Jeremy Jordan, and ‘American Idol’ vet Jennifer Hudson.  As previously reported, season 2 will also see the departure of showrunner and creator Theresa Rebeck, with former ‘Gossip Girl‘ EP Josh Safran stepping in.
