Have you seen the new trailer for 'Brave' yet? It's, by far, the best trailer yet for this year's Pixar film - an animated fairy tale with a female lead; a first for Pixar. The 'Brave' trailer has gotten a great response online so far but a lot of people have one burning question: What is that beautiful Scottish song playing at the end of the video?

The name of the song is (you might want to write this down...) "Tha Mo Ghaol Air Aird A' Chuain" and is performed by Scottish folk singer Julie Fowlis.  The song, off the album "Mar A Tha Mo Chridhe" is sung entirely in Scottish Gaelic and its title translates to "My Love is On the High Seas." Somewhat appropriately, the song is about a young maiden who is sad that her lover is off at sea.

For more on Fowlis, who posted online that she's "thrilled" Pixar is using her music to promote the movie, you can visit her official site and listen to samples of more of her music.

Listen to "Tha Mo Ghaol Air Aird A' Chuain" by Julie Fowlis from the 'Brave' trailer below (which helpfully includes subtitles).
