While there's no telling how different 'Wilfred' season 3 could feel now that showrunner David Zuckerman has left the series, we're eagerly awaiting the latest demented misadventures of Ryan and his imaginary pal. FX has officially set a June 20 premiere date with back to back episodes, and a number of new guest stars, so what other bones will FX throw 'Wilfred' fans this year?

'Wilfred' fans will be in for a treat this year, now that FX has officially set a June 20 premiere date for the FX dramedy's third season featuring series stars Elijah Wood and Jason Ganns. Both June 20 and June 27 will see the debut of two all-new 'Wilfred' episodes back to back beginning at 10:00 PM, taking a break on July 4 before settling into its regular Thursday routine.

In addition to a previously announced guest turn from 'Fringe' and 'The Wire's' Lance Reddick, the third season of 'Wilfred' will also feature guest appearances by Gina Gershon, 'The Office's' Angela Kinsey and Jenny Mollen. Existing guest stars Chris Klein, Mary Steenburgen and Dwight Yoakam will all reprise their roles in the coming season as well.

The third season of ‘Wilfred’ will also see writer/executive producers Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne taking over showrunning for David Zuckerman, who departed after season 2 for as-yet-unknown reasons.

Will ‘Wilfred’ lose its edge without David Zuckerman? What other celebrities will sign on for a guest appearance? Take a look at the latest ‘Wilfred’ season 3 promos below, and tell us what you want to see from the new episodes in the comments!
