'The Wolverine' director James Mangold and 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' director Marc Webb haven't been shy about using social media to share sneak peeks of their upcoming superhero projects, dropping hints and images straight from their respective sets and into the Twitter timelines of fans. Today saw both filmmakers share a few new photos, which you can check out below.

We'll start with Mangold's images from the set of 'The Wolverine,' which give you a nifty look at the production and its scope. As anyone who has ever been on a film set can tell you, there are dozens of people, lights, stands and other pieces of equipment lurking juuust out of frame in virtually every shot, so it's something of a miracle that anyone is ever able to get the shot they need (or that actors can give an honest performance). Check out Mangold's set pictures below and remember that there are c-stands a few feet away from Hugh Jackman's Wolverine whenever he slices and dices his way through his many foes.

While we knew the villainous Electro was going to be playing a role in the film (and we know that he's going to be played by Jamie Foxx), it's fun to see him so directly teased. Can a costume reveal be far behind?

'The Wolverine' opens this July 26 and 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' will arrive on May 2, 2014.
