Sometimes dreams you didn’t even know you had come true. Edgar Wright’s next film has already been shaping up as an exciting prospect (any new Wright film is an exciting prospect), but it somehow just became even more awesome with the casting of Mad Men star Jon Hamm. Hamm has joined the lineup of Baby Driver, the new action flick from the wild and crazy mind of Wright.

Variety reports that Hamm has joined Ansel Elgort, Lily James (Cinderella) and Jamie Foxx in Baby Driver, which is being directed by Wright based on his own original screenplay. The film reportedly centers on a young getaway driver (Elgort) who curates his own personal soundtracks to help enhance his excellent driving skills. When he’s persuaded to drive for a crime boss (Foxx), our young protagonist gets in over his head and a failed heist threatens to shatter his world. James plays Elgort’s love interest.

Hamm’s role in the film is unclear, but the mere idea of Jon Hamm — star of Mad Men and your dreams — appearing in an Edgar Wright movie is almost too cool to process.

Wright will begin filming Baby Driver later this year, with TriStar targeting a March 17, 2017 release date. Yes, that seems like a really long time to wait, but given Wright’s cinematic output, it’s destined to be well worth it.
