Who exactly is Peter Dinklage playing in Bryan Singer's 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'? Well, recent rumors have suggested that he'll be playing Bolivar Trask, the creator of the mutant-hunting Sentinels, and a new picture snapped on the set certainly backs that up. After all, he's certainly not dressed like a Mutant supervillain.

With hair and a 'stache straight out of 1973, Dinklage looks may not look particularly villainous (though he sure seems pissed to be having his picture taken), but if he is indeed playing Trask, he'll be the greatest threat the X-Men have faced yet. In the Marvel comics, Trask's Sentinel robots are gigantic, powerful and tough-to-destroy monstrosities that exist only to hunt down and kill mutants. Dinklage's mundane exterior may be masking one of the most dangerous comic book villains of all time. And who knows? Since time travel is involved, maybe Dinklage will get a more worthy supervillain costume later in the film.

Also seen on set were James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, reprising their roles as Professor X and Magneto. Like Dinklage, they look impossibly '70s. Fassbender wears it well. McAvoy...well, not so much.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' will hit theaters on July 18, 2014.
