With the release date for the Xbox One finally official, it's good to hear Microsoft is in full production of the upcoming next-gen console. It's even better to hear the system will feature some improvements.

Xbox chief marketing officer Yusef Mehdi was on hand at the Citi Global Technology Conference this week, and discussed a bit about the Xbox One's future. According to GeekWire, the console is in production as we speak, meaning it should be no problem whatsoever for Microsoft to hit the Nov. 22 release date.

However, the more interesting news concerns the console's hardware, which Mehdi stated had been boosted just a bit from the initial specs. The CPU, formerly running at 1.6GHz, will now push out 1.75GHz of processing power. It might not sound like a major improvement, but that extra punch will give the system some added speed.
