Tecmo Koei has released a brand new 30-second spot for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, featuring the titular character destroying his enemies in the most brutal ways.

Right off the bat, Yaiba drops an F-bomb, letting you know that he means business. After he fell to Ryu Hayabusa and was then resurrected as a cyborg, he had a few issues with handling his anger. What ensues is a blood-soaked adventure in which he takes on a horde of zombies in order to regain the power to fight Ryu again.

The trailer shows him stylishly dispatching his foes and raining blood everywhere. Unlike previous Ninja Gaiden titles, Yaiba employs a cel-shaded style, giving it the look of a comic book. This makes sense since a webcomic published by Dark Horse Comics was released to complement the game.

Look for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z when it's release in 2014 on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and iOS.
