‘You’re the Worst’ Ruins Romantic Movies With First Season 2 Teasers

Whether or not the 2015 Emmy nominations reflect it, FX’s anti-romance You’re The Worst burst onto the comedy scene as one of the better series of the year, soon continuing its greatness with a second run on FXX. We don’t yet know its September premiere date, but the first Worst Season 2 teasers are all we need to destroy what remains of romantic love.

Taking its cue from a number of famous movie moments (first Spider-Man, now Sixteen Candles), the first FXX spots for You’re The Worst Season 2 don’t offer a clearer premiere date beyond September 2015. Still, between Aya Cash, Chris Geere, Kether Donohue and Desmin Borges, the long road toward Season 2 will lovingly ruin a number of fan-favorite romantic fare, drunk or otherwise.

Elsewhere of You’re The Worst Season 2, we know that Weeds and Tyrant star Justin Kirk and Tara Summers will guest star as a couple whose lives are thrown into chaos after meeting Gretchen (Cash). Additionally, Season 2 of the FXX-transferred comedy will feature Collette Wolfe as Edgar (Borges)’ new friend, alongside The Office star Andy Buckley as Jimmy (Geere)’s agent, and Hung / Spider-Man 2 star Mageina Tovah as Paul’s new love interest.
