We were as surprised as any to learn that ABC's fairy tale mashup 'Once Upon A Time' would dip into more recent fare with an appearance from 'Frozen''s Elsa, Anna and Kristoff, but those expecting to see Idina Menzel or Kristen Bell reprise the roles may be left in the cold. 'Fringe' star Georgina Haig has landed the role of ice queen Elsa, while the fairy tale has also cast the season 4 roles of 'Once Upon a Time''s Anna and Kristoff.

Via TVLine, Haig's rendition of Elsa will have already been through the events of the ever-popular Disney film, having lost control her ice powers and put an accidental freeze on Arendelle, only to learn that the key to controlling her abilities is love. The character appeared in the 'Once Upon A Time' season 3 finale, emerging from a pool of water, T-1000 style, though there, Elsa had understandably been cast with a stand-in.

Elsewhere, newcomer Elizabeth Lail and former 'Greek' star Scott Michael Foster have been cast in the 'Frozen' roles of Anna and Kristoff, who will also appear in the fourth season. No word yet on whether or not we'll be seeing any singing CGI snowmen, but hey, Josh Gad is available!

It'll be interesting to see what 'Once Upon A Time' does with fairytale characters so prominent in the cultural zeitgeist, but what do you think? Does Georgina Haig have the right icy look for Elsa? Watch the character's introduction below, and tell us what you want to see from season 4 in the comments!
