‘Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2′ Clip Brings the Gang Back Together!

Back during Comic-Con 2013, we got to see exclusive clips from 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2,' and now some of that footage has been served up online, giving us a look at the animated sequel’s roster of returning characters. Dig in!

You’ll see a sequence (courtesy of Moviefone) from the new ‘Cloudy’ film - opening next month - which re-introduces us to scientist Flint Lockwood (voiced by Bill Hader), whose food-making machine continues to go haywire and produce “foodimals,” which are exactly what they sound like. In the clip, Flint - of course accompanied by Steve the monkey - gathers up old acquaintances Policeman Earl, Sam, Manny and Brent to put a stop to the delicious menace.

In addition to Hader, the film’s voice talent includes Anna Faris, Terry Crews, Benjamin Bratt, and Neil Patrick Harris.

‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2’ opens on September 27.
