2 Broke Girls

It's a good thing that only three years time will see the major cities of the world outfitted with flying cars, hover-boards and Pepsi Perfect kiosks at every corner cafe, because otherwise things might look fairly bleak.  Not only will '2 Broke Girls' likely still be on the air, but syndicated on a major cable network as well.

Being Upfront week, CBS is hard at work announcing and promoting its new series, as well as plotting out ways to incorporate them into the current schedule.  Today a big move for the network's flagship comedy 'Two and a Half Men' is in the works, but what does it mean for its other comedies?  Who's getting a big promotion, and who will be joining the 'Men' trio on their new night?

This week's planned Reel Women piece was about 'Girls' and the problems audiences seem to have with flawed protagonists, but there's been a change of plans after reading some of the negative responses to the title of this week's episode, "Vagina Panic." This indicates a reflexive response to the "v-word" that is both disheartening and astonishing.

Love 'em or hate 'em, there's no denying that CBS is the most-watched network out these days, with their plethora of unforgettable programming like '2 Broke Girls,' and...well, 'Unforgettable.'  So it should come as no surprise that when CBS looks to announce their 2012-2013 lineup, they're going to go big.

Ah, love.  Sometimes she is simply not meant to be.  That's why it looks like Kat Dennings will be saying goodbye to her sometime '2 Broke Girls' love interest for much longer than expected.

Oh, '2 Broke Girls,' how you vex our soul.  We want to love you, yet never feel whole.  Our poetic parlances of CBS' latest monster hit sitcom and undying love of Kat Dennings aside, '2 Broke Girls' is about to go for, well, broke.
