2014 Emmy Awards

Most people who have a hit show, indie accolades, and scads of awards and nominations before the age of thirty would probably take the time to attend their high school reunion and check in with everyone else they attended school with. Do you have a hit show, guy from English class? You, the girl who was mean to me in P.E., were you nominated for an Emmy? But Lena Dunham isn't like that, and the star and creator of 'Girls' didn't even both to attend her own high school reunion.

If you've ever seen the press room at a major awards show, you know how strange and dizzying an experience it must be for the winners -- just a lot of people screaming questions at them while they clutch their new award and try to process the whole thing -- but we've finally found something much, much more bizarre.

One of these trophies kind of looked like me and the other one didn’t look anything like me. I was hoping someone would award me an Infinity Stone. lol.

In case you missed it, because you were muting the commercial breaks or what have you, Fox debuted a new 'Gone Girl' trailer during the 2014 Emmys, broadcast on NBC Monday night and showcasing never-before-seen footage of Ben Affleck in this twisted tale from director David Fincher and the original best-selling novel.

‘Breaking Bad’ won the 2014 Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series, beating out such other contenders as ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘True Detective.’

Looks like it was another one of those 'Modern Family'-centric years, right? ABC's hit took home the 2014 Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, as it did in 2013, 2012, 2011 ... oh, and in 2010, too!

Much as we might have liked 'Masters of Sex' star Lizzy Caplan to take the gold, 'The Good Wife' star Julianna Margulies tonight takes home the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series award at the 2014 Emmy Awards for her role as Alicia Florrick.

'Breaking Bad' may be over, but there's still plenty of love to go around for the series at tonight's 2014 Emmy Awards, as Bryan Cranston has just been given the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Other nominees included Oscar winners Kevin Spacey for 'House of Cards' and Matthew McConaughey for 'True Detective.'

Amid all the celebrations and laughter during Sunday night's 2014 Emmy Awards, there was one larger-than-life presence that was sorely missed: the late, great Robin Williams.
