The latest series from the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama is heading to Netflix…and back in time, for a medieval-set adventure called Disenchantment. Ahead of the August premiere, Netflix has released the first trailer for Groening’s latest endeavor, which features his signature animated style along with some very familiar voices.

The Queens of Broad City are broadening their horizons. Comedy Central confirms the fan-favorite comedy duo of Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer will end the series with a fifth and final season in 2019, but already have new TV projects on the horizon.

The time has come again, for one and all to play ball.

It’s been almost two years since we first heard Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening had in mind to develop a Netflix animated series, and we’re finally seeing the results. The cast of Futurama will reunite for adult fairy tale Disenchanted, featuring a Broad City favorite and more.

I’ve got good news and bad on the front of Broad City Season 4. To rip the bandage off, the already-delayed August premiere has now moved to September. Still, you can watch the first Season 4 scene right now, as Abbi and Ilana meet for the first time in 2011!

Look, I’ll be honest: despite the runaway success of 2014’s The LEGO Movie and last year’s The LEGO Batman Movie, I was never really sure why Warner Bros. was moving forward with The LEGO NINJAGO Movie as the third entry in its LEGO cinematic universe. Maybe I’m completely out of touch - “No, it’s the children who are wrong!” - but the NINJAGO series of video games and movies doesn’t have quite the same pull as the licensed LEGO toys. Besides, isn’t NINJAGO basically just an animated version of Power Rangers? Does the summer really need a second one of those?

The women of Broad City pushed hard enough for Hillary Clinton that the Presidential candidate herself put in an appearance, so it follows that Season 4 would take a hardline stance on Trump. So much so, in fact, that Abbi and Ilana have opted to censor his name entirely.

Broad City may be returning for Season 4 later in the year than usual, but Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer certainly used the time well. A jam-packed first trailer for the August premiere sees the girls headed to Florida and going animated, with guest stars from RuPaul to Jane Curtin.

Broad City may be debuting Season 4 later in the year than we’re accustomed to, but Abbi and Ilana won’t come back alone. The boys of South Park will officially join them, as both Comedy Central series set an August 2017 premiere for new seasons.
