A new interview sees Peele suggesting his sketch comedy career is over, leaving only a bleak future of unimaginable directorial success. Life is hard!

Chappelle’s Show has been off the air long enough that you might overlook a connection to Key & Peele, though Dave Chappelle certainly popularized the format of comedians having carte blanche over a sketch show. Now, with Chappelle back in the spotlight for his Netflix special, the comedian reveals how Key & Peele “hurts my feelings,” even as he counts himself a fan.

We may have seen the last of Key & Peele’s famous anger translation sketch with Keegan-Michael Key’s Luther and Jordan Peele’s Obama, but don’t expect either to give up the ghost for good. Peele briefly brought Obama back for a Late Night With Seth Meyers appearance, albeit without needing the filter that Luther provides.

If ever there were a time for President Obama to show his anger, Key & Peele’s Luther would be it. Watch the pair make their final appearance on The Daily Show, as Luther tries (and fails spectacularly) to keep his anger toward the new President-Elect in check.

We’ll miss a great many things about both Obama and Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, but at least they’ll go down in a blaze of glory together. So it is, that Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will bring Obama and anger-translator Luther back for one last appearance on tonight’s Daily Show.

We’re just over a year from the end of Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, and even with all 300+ sketches available online, fans can’t help missing the duo’s comedic voice.
