It’s become increasingly clear how NBC’s Powerless has changed shape to pull in more of the DC universe, moving from an insurance company setting, to a direct division of Bruce Wayne’s. Now, the newest footage attaches yet another Batman connection with Alan Tudyk’s character.

We’ve seen NBC’s DC Comics comedy Powerless take a number of shapes since development, and if you caught some of the early pilot trailers, you’ll barely recognize the final product. Get a look at Wayne Security in a revamped premise trailer for Powerless, ahead of a February premiere.

It’s telling that Rogue One’s best character is a robot.

Alan Tudyk is no stranger to playing non-human characters. From Sonny in 2004’s I, Robot to a scene-stealing rooster in Moana, he’s made a long career out of voice work. But if you think Tudyk’s droid in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is just another voiceover gig in a major studio movie, think again.

We’re still on the fence over DC branching out into live-action comedy with NBC’s upcoming Powerless, particularly after a bit of creative trouble, but we finally know when the series will suit up. NBC has selected a February date for the series, along with slots for a Blacklist spinoff, another Chicago and more.

It still remains to be seen if Disney and Marvel’s Big Hero 6 will ever get a second life in theaters, but the upcoming 2017 animated continuation is no slouch when it comes to casting. Not only will stars like Maya Rudolph and Scott Adsit return, so too will Sherlock and The Walking Dead stars join the mix.

In Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Alan Tudyk lends his delightful voice-acting skills to the role of K-2SO, an Imperial droid that was reprogrammed to help the rebellion. As it turns out, that’s not the only role Tudyk originally had to play in the upcoming anthology film — he also had a live-action meta-cameo of sorts that was ultimately cut from the finished version, and while we might not ever get to see it, Tudyk doesn’t mind sharing the details.

The Topps Star Wars: Card Trader digital trading card game has been around since a little before the release of The Force Awakens last year, when the iOS and Android app launched. It became pretty popular, providing a paperless way of trading cards back and forth through smartphones, with about a million users and 60 million individual cards. Ahead of this winter’s release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Topps has released the artwork for six new trading cards, featuring characters from the upcoming film.
