Earlier today FOX offered up a few new tidbits about the 'Gotham' premiere this fall, as well as its initial fall 2014 schedule, but why stop there? Earlier today we found out that FOX's 'Gotham' would occupy the Monday slot alongside 'Sleepy Hollow' season 2, but that proved among the least surprising choices for the upcoming season. Unexpected, but okay! We were a bit disappointed to learn that 'The Office' star Rainn Wilson wouldn't return to TV as soon as we'd hoped, given that CBS declined to pick up the comic actor's buzzworthy police procedural 'Backstrom,' but it seems FOX has taken a big shot on Wilson with a full series order for the discarded drama.

There can be no stopping 'The Office's May 16 series finale, particularly now that NBC's aborted Dwight Schrute-centric spin-off "The Farm" has come and gone.
