Bong Joon-ho

After a drawn-out battle over which cut would play stateside, Korean director Bong Joon-ho‘s ‘Snowpiercer,‘ which stars Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Alison Pill and John Hurt, is finally coming to America this summer, and now there's a new red-band trailer to promote its arrival.

Bong Joon-ho's 'Snowpiercer' is opening (at least internationally) right before Neill Blomkamp's 'Elysium,' and it's interesting that two world-class filmmakers are using science-fiction to address the inequalities in the world. The "Occupy Wall Street" movement obviously sparked a lot of imaginations.

Director Bong Joon-ho isn't exactly known for portraying humanity in the most positive light, and the new international trailer for his latest feature, 'Snowpiercer,' finds his outlook just as thrillingly dour as ever.
