Colin Firth’s Return Confirmed in ‘Kingsman’ Sequel
A few months back, Taron Egerton teased the return of Colin Firth in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Matthew Vaughn’s sequel to his surprise hit film based on Mark Millar’s graphic novel. Despite the fact that [SPOILER] Firth’s return seemed a bit impossible given the ending of Kingsman: The Secret Service, a new photo from the set of the sequel confirms that Harry Hart is indeed back, and he’s palling around with one of your favorite Game of Thrones stars.

This year’s sleeper smash Kingsman: The Secret Service ended with as much definitive resolution as an action movie could possibly have: the bad guy’s been bested, the world saved, and our hero retires to a Swedish princess’ private chamber for some butt stuff. But because the film pulled a staggering $413.3 million haul on its comparatively modest $81 million budget, a follow-up capitalizing on the spy homage’s unlikely success was all but assured. With director Matthew Vaughn and star Taron Edgerton both on board, the production has begun to move full steam ahead by setting a date of release for June 16, 2017.

Dogs can’t play Catchphrase! If everyone present looks confused, it’s because they are, almost gloriously so.

‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ Review
For decades, people have made fun of Roger Moore. Moore starred in more James Bond movies than anyone else, but his entire twelve-year, seven-film run is widely regarded today as a goofy, cartoonish disaster. After Moore retired from the role following 1985’s ‘A View to a Kill,’ the Bond franchise refocused, growing darker and more serious. Now 007 belongs to Daniel Craig, who’s as stern as Moore was cheeky. Craig’s Bonds (and the Jason Bourne movies that helped inspire their solemn tone) have been so hugely successful, that there is an assumption that over-the-top spy movies like Moore’s wouldn’t work in 2015. ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ proves they can.
