Big changes are coming to TBS’ Conan. One year after rumors the series would shrink to a weekly format, TBS and Conan O’Brien now confirm the series will instead air four nights a week as a half-hour series, while expanding Team Coco’s focus on digital and live content.

Once and future Robin actor Chris O’Donnell made an appearance on Conan O’Brien last night to promote his current TV home NCIS: Los Angeles. Among the friendly chatter, the fiery-haired talk show host grilled a visibly uncomfortable O’Donnell about one of his more surreal experiences on a film set during the ’90s. See, one of O’Donnell’s first major roles came on the well-respected drama Scent of a Woman with Al Pacino, where they had to deal with a unlikely prima donna guest star. Donald Trump’s acting career has taken him through the Home Alone franchise and beyond, but this credit in particular eluded him.

There’s been enough turnover in late-night over the last year that Conan O’Brien’s Conan has often turned to high-concept hours and trips to steer attention, having kept steady on TBS for several years. Now, a shakeup may see Conan shifted to a weekly format, akin to Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.

TBS’ Conan has been running strong for six full years now, frequently pushing the format with trips to Comic-Con, Cuba and more, but not everything goes off without a hitch. The Marvel Cinematic Universe, now in its eighth year, has been known to kickstart a lot of otherwise unknown actors’ careers, and give some their big break while rebooting others’ careers. While Robert Downey Jr. definitely had the biggest name at the start, it wasn’t easy for Jon Favreau to convince the Marvel execs that he was right for Tony Stark, but we’re all so glad he did. Chris Evans’ only other blockbuster credit was as the Human Torch in Fox’s Fantastic Four (2005) and its ill-fated sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), but his chiseled jawline soon landed him the title role in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger.

Marvel’s Ant-Man opens in theaters today and to this point we’ve seen no shortage of trailers, clips and TV spots showing off all kinds of footage. But, on the last stop on his promotional tour for the movie, Paul Rudd stopped by to visit Conan O’Brien and brought something extra special.

Not long ago, we heard a report suggesting that Lionsgate is planning on developing more Hunger Games sequels (or prequels, maybe), which makes sense given the franchise’s vast global success. Josh Hutcherson appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show with Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth to promote The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, where he added fuel to the sequel rumor fire.
