CBS Confirms 'CSI' Finale Movie, Ted Danson Joins 'Cyber'
Amid all the flurry of Upfronts renewals and cancellations, last weeks saw rumors that CBS’ flagship CSI would close its doors for good, leaving only spinoff Cyber on the air for an additional season. Now, the network has confirmed CSI will close out with a two-hour movie returning some of the procedural’s biggest names, while Ted Danson will find a new home with the Cyber folk.
CBS 2015 Renews 'Good Wife,' 'Odd Couple' and More
It’s only Monday, meaning if you’re already tired of the many 2015 Upfront renewals, cancellations and pickups, CBS is not for you. CBS 'CSI' to End With Two-Hour TV Movie, Says Report

Gallery: The 26 Top-Rated Television Shows of the Last 60 Years
Over the past 60 years, just 26 shows have held the coveted title of a season’s top-rated series. They run the gamut from sitcoms to Westerns to medical dramas to soap operas and back. Viewers’ taste remains fascinatingly cyclical; 60 years ago, the most popular show in America was a game show; 45 years later, a similar game show reigned supreme. Some of the shows in this gallery remained firmly ingrained in the fabric of popular culture; others have faded away. (Paging Dr. Marcus Welby...) But at one point in time (or, in a few cases, at several points) these 26 series were the most popular in the entire country.

HBO surprised the TV world yesterday with the announcement of a standalone streaming option for the reclusive network, but it isn't the only TV giant looking to secure a streaming future. CBS has announced (and launched) its own pay-service to give non-cable users access to their library of content, calling the new innovation "CBS Access."
CBS Fall 2014 Premieres: ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Replaces ‘HIMYM,’ ‘Elementary’ to October
Now that 'How I Met Your Mother' spinoff 'How I Met Your Dad' seems to have fallen through, the CBS lineup looks a little bereft of anything we might normally follow. And now with CBS' acquisition of Thursday Night Football, the full fall 2014 schedule looks a little jumbled with 'The Big Bang Theory' filling in for 'HIMYM' Mondays, while 'Elementary' and others move to October to accommodate football.
CBS Releases its Fall 2014 Schedule and Trailers
Among the last, but certainly not least, the eye network CBS has officially gotten in on the Upfront 2014 game by releasing their schedule for the fall, and full trailers for the newest series. Few major surprises (minus that 'How I Met Your Dad' pass), but take a look at the future of CBS with new trailers for Halle Berry's 'Extant,' sporting family sitcom 'The McCarthys' and more!
