‘Teen Titans GO! to the Movies’ in First Trailer
Justice League may not have been the awesome superhero ensemble we all wanted it to be, but another DC superhero team is on the way to a theater near you to (hopefully) make up for it. The first trailer for Teen Titans GO! to the Movies is here, revealing Warner Bros. latest super-effort, based on the popular Cartoon Network animated series. And yes, these adorable animated teen heroes are fully aware that you’d rather see more Wonder Woman — they would, too.

David Ayer Is Still Directing ‘Gotham City Sirens’ (For Now)
One of the big items to emerge from last weekend’s Comic-Con was the news that Zack Snyder would be taking a backseat in the DCEU going forward. This report - which falls somewhere between a rumor and a substantiated story - spoke directly to a shifting creative hierarchy behind the scenes at Warner Bros. And wouldn’t you know it? Right on schedule, the studio has released a whole bunch of clips from the new film. We’ve got scenes where Wonder Woman throws down against enemy soldiers, scenes where Wonder Woman struggles to understand the “modern” world, and a whole bunch of scenes where Chris Pine plays the comic relief to Gal Gadot’s straight woman. If you’ve been hoping for a closer look at the world that director Patty Jenkins has put together, here’s your chance.

Aaron Sorkin Might Start Writing for Both Marvel and DC
Because Marvel and DC seem to have gotten wind of the majority of our culture’s at best toleration of and at worst boredom with the current cookie-cutter state of superhero movies, both studios have been looking to bring in some new talent. Many of the upcoming films on Marvel’s slate will be directed by folks who only recently made their indie debuts. Now it looks like the studios are looking for fresh takes on the material in some more unexpected places. Like Aaron Sorkin, for instance.
