Paramount, like all Hollywood studios, loves a good reboot. This week they’ve got Terminator Genisys coming out, which reimagines the old James Cameron movie in a whole new light. Earlier this year they had a new version of The Gambler with Mark Wahlberg, and last summer they had a big hit with a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Lately, they’ve begun exploring ways to take their remaking ways to television; they’re working on a Shutter Island series based on the Martin Scorsese film and a American Gigolo show with producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The latest addition to their remake slate: Fatal Attraction, which is also headed to the small screen.
