You’ve only days to wait until The Walking Dead unleashes its first trailer for Season 8 at Comic-Con 2017, but why not get a head start? Literally, as heads are all over the new Season 8 key art, which also sets an October premiere (with a little Fear thrown in).

We’re now eight seasons into The Walking Dead, and three into companion series Fear The Walking Dead, so there’s no pretending the world is fighting back. An extended new featurette for the latter’s June premiere cements as much, also revealing exactly what became of Madison, Travis, Nick, Strand and Alicia since Season 2.

The Walking Dead hiatus may last longer than expected, but at least Fear The Walking Dead will deliver a complete zombie fix with Season 3. To wit, our June premiere has its first full promo trailer, teasing hard times for the extended Clark family, not to mention Strand.

Walking Dead companion series Fear The Walking Dead will join its partner in Season 3 with a full sixteen episodes, though a fourth year remained in question after the departure of showrunner Dave Erickson. Fear not, as the series will indeed return for Season 4, and with a more direct Walking Dead connection.

The Walking Dead may have come to a close, but Fear will rise anew this June. Season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead has officially set a double-premiere for Season 3, also releasing its first footage and new photos of the companion series’ return.

If Sasha’s big entrance in The Walking Dead Season 7 finale seemed at all predictable, it might have been that comic viewers anticipated her following another character’s fate. Said theory was complicated by Fear The Walking Dead borrowing the same moment last season, for which main series showrunner Scott Gimple explains opting for a similar, albeit tweaked reveal.

We don’t yet know for sure when AMC companion series Fear The Walking Dead will return for Season 3, but there’s more uncertainty on the horizon. Showrunner Dave Erickson will step down after the Walking Dead spinoff’s third season, moving on to other AMC projects.
